Who we are

Owl Media for Digital Marketing (“Owl Media”, “we”, “us”) is a digital marketing agency registered in Jordan, with offices at Al-Shajarah Street, Abdoun, Amman, Jordan. For any question about this policy or about data we hold, contact us at info@owl-media.site.

What we collect

• Information you give us directly: name, email address, telephone number, company name, and the content of enquiries, proposals and correspondence.
• Information collected automatically when you use this website: IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring source and time on page.
• Information from clients in the course of an engagement, which may include access to analytics, advertising, CRM and other marketing systems, and customer data contained within them.
• Information from recruitment applications, where you apply for a role with us.

How we use it

• To respond to enquiries and provide the services you have asked for.
• To manage our relationship with clients, suppliers and applicants.
• To measure and improve the performance of this website.
• To send occasional insight and research emails, where you have asked to receive them. Every such email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
• To comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

Legal basis

Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (delivering services you have engaged us for), legitimate interests (running and improving our business, responding to enquiries, securing our systems), consent (marketing emails and non-essential cookies) and legal obligation (accounting and tax records). We process personal data in Jordan in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law.

Cookies and analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate this site, and analytics cookies to understand how it is used. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only where you consent. You can withdraw consent at any time through your browser settings or our cookie preferences control. We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation enabled.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under written agreement, including hosting, email, analytics, CRM and advertising platforms, and with professional advisers, or where required by law. Some of these providers operate outside Jordan; where they do, we rely on appropriate contractual safeguards.

Client data

Where we access a client’s systems in the course of an engagement, we act as a processor on that client’s instructions. We do not use client customer data for our own purposes, we do not transfer it between clients, and access is removed at the end of the engagement or on request.

Retention

Enquiry correspondence is kept for two years from last contact. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for seven years afterwards where required for accounting and legal purposes. Recruitment records are kept for twelve months unless you ask us to keep them longer. Analytics data is retained for fourteen months.

Your rights

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
• Ask us to delete data where we have no continuing lawful reason to keep it.
• Object to or restrict processing based on legitimate interests.
• Request a portable copy of data you provided to us.
• Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.

To exercise any of these, write to info@owl-media.site. We respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the relevant supervisory authority.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls on a least-privilege basis, multi-factor authentication on business systems, and regular review of third-party access. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the protection of both your data and our clients’ data seriously and will notify you promptly of any breach affecting you.

Changes

We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be notified to active clients directly.
